Taos Pizza Outback

This restaurant in Taos is a great option for vegans. They offer large pizza slices with sojamozzarella and the best crust I've had in a long time. They also have an impressive selection of beers.

We visited a restaurant on a slow day. Most of the tables were empty, but they were dirty. Despite there being plenty of staff, it took about 25 minutes for someone to take our order or even acknowledge us after we sat down. When the pizza finally arrived, it was greasy and not very appetizing. The server never checked on us or asked if we needed anything else. Instead, they simply brought us the bill without a word.

I was thrilled to discover a vegan pizza option while visiting Taos. The staff was incredibly friendly and the pizza was delicious. They offer the option to add soy mozzarella for a small additional charge. I would have eaten here every day when I lived in Taos. The short drive from the city is definitely worth it.

They were very helpful and welcomed our group of 9 vegans. the pizza crust is unique-gebrant and sprinkled with sesame seeds. everyone enjoyed the veggie pizza with soybean.

We had the veggie pizza at the Taos Pizza Outback and substituted the soy cheese. It was so delicious. The pizza was loaded with veggies and just the right amount of cheese. No skimping on ingredients here. Nice place, Great service from Monica. The salads the other customers were having looked really good and healthy. Unfortunately the only vegan salad dressing they had was oil and vinegar so we passed. Highly recommended a visit.
