Mondo Italiano Taos

Great, authentic restaurant in the Italian style of New York! I had spinach filled ravioli, my wife had a penne pasta dish with mushrooms and we shared a salad with walnuts, dried cranberries, mixed greens and a raspberry vinaiigrette dressing. The Italian bread was delicious. The dessert was a hard choice with Italian Cream Cake, carrot cake, lemon cream Cake and several flavors of Gelato. We sat on Gelato, Mocha for the lady and salted caramel for me. The waiting staff was friendly, friendly and professional. The service was fast. Good for a relaxed, romantic dinner.

La Terraza de Toas Cocina. It's New! It's Mexican food, terrace dining and mountain views. I recommend the shrimp enchiladas and carmel filled churros.

Eunice provided excellent service. The food was good overall, although I wasn't a fan of the spinach in the lasagna; I had never encountered that before and I'm not sure I liked it. The prices were reasonable, and we would definitely return.

The food was fantastic! However, I did have some issues with our waitress, Evie. She was difficult to understand, and I found myself having to call her over multiple times for drink refills and other requests. She wasn't very attentive, only checking on us when taking our order and delivering our food, but not afterward. Thankfully, another waitress named Eunice helped us out, and she was wonderful—very friendly!

So happy to see Mondo doing so well it was relatively busy when we went. But nevertheless we had great service food was good. Gelato a must try. And our salad was so pretty.
