La Cisterna Del Moro - TAORMINA

The dining area is perfectly nice to sit in but the food is really very bad. One dish (a cannelloni) was plainly microwaved and arrived inside 5 minutes with a congealed, old tomato sauce, a spaghetti carbonara was coagulated and almost inedible and the grilled chicken was very dry. Topped off with a high cover charge. I suppose you can get away with that in a place like Taormina full of tourists but be warned, this standard of cooking is completely unacceptable in Italy. Avoid if you can.

Delicious food and fast service. We discovered this lovely restaurant while strolling through the main part of Taormina. We were on our way to the opera and after having a big lunch at a winery, we didn't want a huge meal. We wanted good food and a nice experience. We all enjoyed our meals. Service was wonderful and the entrees were generous (much more than we needed!

Great views from the terrace but unfortunately that’s where it ends. Very poor service, uninterested staff, Our party of four got served our meals at least 5 minutes apart. The food wasn’t that great which is such a shame as the terrace with the views could make for a very pleasant evening. There are without doubt many better restaurants with fantastic food and service In Taormina so would only go here as a last resort

We were recommended this restaurant by gastgeber sebastiano and visited in our last night. it is from the city center and as such in a quiet opposite. service was very friendly and attentive, eating was excellent as the wine! a beautiful evening!

We were in this place perhaps by mistake as we were not worried about booking a room for a dinner in August in one of the most touristic places in Italy. Without leaving the unfair debut, as they made them sit in the boys' room visibly arrived after us that we were there waiting for a good half hour, I must admit that the rest was not less. If you go here for dinner, forget the panoramic view written in Cubist characters at the entrance because you will see only the NULLA...I want to hope that day you enjoy a better view. That said, I must acknowledge that my pasta to the sardines was really good, nothing to be excelled, unlike the prawns served to my husband and paid with why. All in all kind staff, prices a little over the average for how and how we ate. . .insomal without infamy and without praise.
