Deluge - TAORMINA

Absolutely LOVED Deluge!!! This is a GREAT place for afternoon cocktails. Or kids enjoyed granita or ice cream. After a day or afternoon at the beach we would go to Deluge for cocktails. We were able to hang out with the locals and speak with them. It 's like a family atmostphere. Davide, the owner, is so adorable. At the begnning of our trip we placed our order, after becoming regulars he made delicous suggestions. I always took he suggestions and was never disappointed. They looked as delcious as they tasted. He also provides small snacks--about 3 or 4 various delicious dips with carrots, cucumbers and croutons. It was a perfect amount with the cocktail. Each morning we went for morning cappuccino and brisoci or cornetto-sometimes granita. Since we stayed 4 weeks, Melo got to know us and would just looked at us and signaled cappuccino with a smile and within a minute it appeared. We sat outside facing the beach enjoying our morning breakfast. It was fantastic. We can 't wait to go back!!!
