She was considerate of the food allergies and took time to make sure the food we were served aligned with the allergies of the people who ordered since there were same dishes that were ordered by different people on the table. I Ordered a spiked ice coffee and Benedict (Florentine Benedict and i think it was decent, not the best. But good.
Last visit was 2019 when we were staying at Camelback/Aquatopia. Times have changed.... we had an early morning breakfast before we were to arrive at Kalahari. There were only three other families when they opened. The waitress was prompt. The coffee was weak! The mugs were stained, not throughly cleaned. The food was good but not as wonderful as we remembered. We adored the pancakes the last time. Tasted like vanilla birthday cake with slightly crispy edges! So very yummy. They were THE bomb. This time round, its like they lost flavor. Was the recipe chaged ? it saddend me. My kids french toast was good the bacon well cooked, so he said. My hubby and my omelets were good. Also the butter pakcets... some we opened looked like they melted and were re-refrigerated. As always, my husband couldn't resist checking out the whiskeys and moonshine and of course bought some for home. That's another review to be written. I dunno if I'd come back here for breakfast if we venture out to these parts for skiing.....
We went to The Morning Toast with our obnoxiously large party of 16 on a Monday AM (President 's Day . We were able to be seated immediately. Our server was great patient with our big group (which was almost 50% children and very helpful in general. Everyone loved their drinks we had a mix of cocktails, hot cocoas, and coffees of all sorts (lattes, cold brews, cappuccinos! . It was definitely refreshing after living off mediocre coffee in our ski house all weekend. I for one was grateful for my latte! The drinks took a bit of time, but they were a combo of specialty coffee drinks and cocktails, so it 's to be expected. The food was overall pretty delish I had the avocado toast. Despite it being a fake avocado taste like the pre mashed ones in the deli section. I didn 't hate it, but I prefer fresh, chunky avocado. The tomatoes and the light sauce/glaze helped compensate. I also tried my husband 's potatoes they were the highlight of his meal (and definitely a light in mine they were incredibly well seasoned and cooked so well. High five on that one. The other meal that was a highlight was my son 's chicken and waffles they were delicious!!! Everyone raved about the taste and took a bite (much to his dismay . We also loved the touch of hot maple syrup, although the container was really hot to the touch. Lastly, the pancakes they were HUGE! Everyone was so impressed with not only the size but also the fluffiness and overall taste. Now, there aren 't many options in the area, so technically, they don 't have to be good. The fact that they are means so much more.
I recently visited a diner that serves decent breakfast, but there was one issue that detracted from my overall enjoyment of the meal. The avocado toast was served with too much garlic, which overpowered the taste of the avocado and made it difficult to enjoy. While the diner does serve a decent breakfast, the avocado toast was a bit of a disappointment due to the excessive amount of garlic. If you're a fan of garlic, you may not mind this as much, but for those who aren't as fond of the flavor, it can be a bit off-putting. Overall, the diner serves a decent breakfast, but I would recommend being cautious if you decide to order the avocado toast.
We had a wonderful Saturday morning breakfast out on the patio. The food was good, the service was outstanding and the manager stopped by our table to make sure everything was good. That a 5 star restaurant in my book!
