The staff are friendly, making even my 8-year-old willing to endure a trip to the supermarket knowing there will be a tasty treat at the café afterwards. My almost 2-year-old keeps others entertained and is welcomed with smiles. There are also plenty of high chairs available.
Morrisons Café is alright. The staff is friendly, helpful, and polite, but it can get very busy. It's quieter at certain times of the day, but if it's crowded, there may be a wait for a table. Sometimes you have to ask for things like milk or cutlery that aren't always readily available. The food is always well-prepared and tasty.
My friend and I go in their regularly, however service is slow, usually have to ask for a mug or plates as they are never replaced once empty. Latte is always not hot and so I heat it up in the microwave. Tables not cleaned...quick enough and cutlery has stains on. Trying to find somewhere else to meet up soon. Staff need to work harder to improve service. Disappointing
Not my usual haunt lol, however been a few times after getting the weekly shop and always excellent value, today I had what I thought was going to be a small roll with a fer breakfast bits in it, (i arrived at It was...HUGE!!! eggs, bacon, sausages, beans and mushrooms ...... honest..... all in a roll the size of a small dinner plate! all that for pounds you cant grumble at that!!
Considering the decline in cooking quality, Morrisons has made a bold move by changing their policy regarding breakfast dishes. Previously, customers could request to exchange a dish for another at no extra cost. However, this is no longer the case as customers are now required to pay for any additional items they request, even if they do not want the original item. This can result in unnecessary food waste or additional costs for customers. This new policy comes across as greedy and goes against the needs of ordinary people who are struggling with the impact of high inflation and job losses. Unfortunately, I will no longer be dining at Morrisons due to this change and I urge them to reconsider their decision. Even the cafe staff at Morrisons are in agreement that this policy is wrong.
