Food was divine. Great choice and extensive wine list. Staff were really great as well. I was dining alone on a business trip, but felt very welcome and comfortable

We stayed and tried the nice course offer. All the good was great. Only problem was we ended up just tasting the last three courses as we couldn't fit any more in. Worked out to be very good value.

We have been to The Lobby previous to this visit and always experienced great food and excellent service. This time around the service was next to none even though the restaurant was not busy and the food was very ordinary. Attention needs to be paid to the temperature of the meals, the presentation of the meals and the flavour combinations.

I had dined out for lunch and was after a light evening meal My choices of Vanilla Poached Pear, Prosciutto, Blue Cheese, Hazelnut & Rocket and Vanilla Bean Panna Cotta, Strawberries, Ginger Syrup, Mint were both fresh, flavoursome and gorgeous to look at. The restaurant was quiet on the night we dined and my only complaint would be that the wait staff seemed more interested in setting up for breakfast than attending to us. However the food was so good I will be back

It's not often these days you find a motel dining room with five-star cuisine ... but this is one; Lobby is located within the Sanctuary Inn Motel. We had steak and duck, and both were created to a superlative standard; my wife is the fussiest steak consumer known ... and her only complaint was the steak was too big! I'm a very fussy duck eater, and this confit was one of the best. To top it off, the desserts were designed to tantalise the palate while adding centimetres to the waistline.
