Ravintola Myllärit - Tampere

The atmosphere is amazing and the eating is really good.

I visited Myllärit for lunch today, as they offered a dish from my home country (Currywurst). I expected them to get it wrong, but apart from having mashed potatoes instead if fries, this wouldn't have to hide from many German restaurants. Well done Myllärit. As for the restaurant itself, I can't say much about how it is outside of lunch hours, but for lunch they seem to have a good selection of changing meals, and a nice atmosphere that makes lunch feel like a very good break from work. Would recommend. Note: lunch dishes as in many other restaurants around here are served on a buffet.

A nice homely place with good service. One of the better meals I have had. As a starter I had the snails with bacon, bread and bluecheese. As main I had the glazed goose. Highly recommended. I would go there again.

Service was excellent and speedy. Food had some surprising highlights. We had the 4 course menu which was definetely worth it. Oddly, the humble finnish pea soup had been elevated to a level i did not expect. All-around good show.

Food was quite good, nothing too special tho. We had a lamb burger, forest mushroom soup and salmon with vegetables. Friendly service, however a bit slowish. :
