Ravintola Hella Ja Huone - Tampere

Hella ja Huone is a small fine dining place, truly a gem in Tampere. The owners are there working with big heart and willing to discuss their recipes and experiences. Summer menu was exceptional, mangalitza ham was better than iberico something everyone should try it. Wine pairing was fantastic and sometimes surprising. They took our allergy advice very seriously and professionally. Price is not too high for such a high quality place. Recommended!

The service was friendly, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was cozy. Despite the restaurant being busy, the staff did a great job of attending to everyone. There were a few minor mistakes, but they were understandable given the circumstances. One member of our group ordered the vegetarian option from the menu and was also very pleased with their meal.

Fine-dining it is. There was a predefined complete menu with accompanying wines. All matched very well. Some of the courses had original surprising twists in the taste, others were just excellently done. Service is professional.

Amazing! It appeared that there was only one chef and one waiter, but they provided excellent service. The restaurant is on the expensive side, so expect a hefty bill, but the food is definitely worth it! They do not have a menu, instead offering a choice between a simple 4 or 6 course meal, with wine or beer pairings for each course. I went with the 4 course option, but could have easily gone for the 6 since the portions were small. Each dish was beautifully presented, with vibrant colors and interesting combinations of flavors and textures. It was evident that the chef put a lot of thought into every detail of each dish, showing great talent! Absolutely loved it!
