Aitoleipä - Tampere

The waffle with ice cream and whipped cream is really good. The lasagna is also delicious. I had to deduct one star because you can't order specialty coffee during the final hour before closing. I enjoy the new Aitoleipä cafe, the interior and building are very nice and spacious. The layout helps with noise control. I do wish the portions were a bit smaller and more affordable. Often, I would like to have a savory dish before dessert, but there is never enough room for both. This seems to be a common issue in many other establishments as well.

I went to the brunch, it was 30 euro per person. The food was good, not amazing, and definitely not worth the price. Even at hotels it can be cheaper, for higher quality.

This restaurant is a fantastic spot to enjoy a coffee or snack. There are cat drawings all over the place that you can purchase, but at 300 euros for a chalk drawing, I think I'll have to decline. Nevertheless, the decor of this coffee shop is top-notch.

Disappointing. The lunch price is 10,90 eur. It includes just one selection aka only one main dish. No salads, no desserts, nothing in addition. Just a piece of bread. Apart from poor lunch selection at a price range where other places offer you so much more, the food is mediocre at best. I had meatballs with mashed potatoes, gravy and lingonberry jam. Meatballs were just disgusting (chewy fibery bread mass). Ikea meatballs are times and times better. The rest was mediocre, nothing special. Service. Service was astonishingly bad. 4 people running around looking you in the mouth and not being able to take a dirty plate off the table. Any other place in the center will be better... save your money and get your lunch somewhere else...
