Service was horrible. I had to call the manager to bring me hot sauce and my soda because all of the servers said they were not assigned to our table. All of them just kept passing by after we had asked for those items.

We have eaten here many times, including holding our office holiday party and we have never been disappointed before. This time we were surprised in the entire experience being well below expectations. Food quality was off, cheese bread was cold, we were not offered all items that came out of the kitchen and did not know to ask for them as apparently they are seasonal, (ie, grilled shrimp and beef ribs) we had to ask for the plantains three times as two were served for the four adults at the table and were not replenished. When asked to speak to a manager and explain that we felt we were seated in an area that did not get to experience all of the offerings and that perhaps better rotation would help amongst the tables, he was dismissive and told us we could have a copy of the menu and should ask and they will bring whatever we wanted. We tried to be polite and explain that we didn’t know to ask since we were not aware of all the items and his solution was if we come back to look at the website before visiting. Suffice to say we will not be back!

Very nice restaurant. It was such a cool concept but very loud and very crowded. We celebrated my mom’s 68th birthday. My parents were seating next to another table…when the server bent over to reach across the table she accidentally bumped into my dad in which scooted the table forward towards me. Fortunately there was no consequences of food spilling on me and I was able to find it funny. Did I mention that it was loud? Like very very loud. The servers and meat cutters were not easily heard over the noise, however our server was excellent at making recommendations for drinks and we just went with her advice and found out afterwards that she had amazing taste. If you don’t mind the loud atmosphere and know what exactly you like or just goes with the flow this is the place for you. Also, make sure your stomach is empty empty or you will be done within 15 minutes of sitting down and miss a lot of the experience.

Because the timing is all over the place you eat cold puree with warm meat or cold meat and warm puree. Sometimes you wait for long periods of time and have to eat salad because no meat shows up and the place is freezing cold so the thin cuts of meat get cold as soon as you start cutting them. Then the waitress stands in front of you waiting for a tip. Literally staring at what you are writing in the receipt. I used to love TDB. Now it is just bad service and you end up eating cheap cuts and fillers.

The server we had was exceptional. Make sure you ask for the different meats to come to your table. Like if you want beef ribs or lamb chops.
