Unfortunately, what I received was far from satisfactory. The 1/2 salad was more like 1/8 of a salad with minimal toppings and even a chicken bone. The sandwich I ordered with red peppers had barely any ingredients and left me feeling disappointed. This experience has led me to decide that I am done with Panera, especially the location on Bruce B Downs in Tampa. As a loyal customer for years, this order was a huge letdown. With a bill of almost $50 for two people, the portion size was not worth the cost. Stefanie M, Order #821342528.
I was disappointed that the big bowl I ordered did not come with as much soup as I had anticipated.
I really enjoy the diverse clientele around the University of South Florida and the hospital. While I feel hesitant to say this, there are some homeless individuals who frequent the area, but the atmosphere is welcoming overall. The seating in the restaurant is open, with some booths that have light on the back. I noticed that they don't offer bread with their tuna sandwiches for some reason. I joined the Sip Club for $10, hoping it's a long-term membership, as an old-timer in the "Dale Mafia" told me it should be for a year. One time, I opted for a caffeine drink to boost my energy, although I was concerned about my blood pressure. The cold drinks are packed with caffeine and are called "charged" drinks, which include exotic fruity and caffeinated tea options.
At first I loved Panera for years. I finally tried something new and absolutely loved it. The Chipotle Chicken and Speck Flatbread Pizza was AMAZING! The staff is always so nice and understanding, although it is mid lunch break and I ask questions.
Took our order over the phone, never placed it -then expects us to pay and gives us a embrassrjnhly difficult time in the store as if it was our fault they didn?t enter the information. We have an extremely limited lunch break on a 16 hour shift and this is drawn out over 20 minutes to tell us there?s nothing they?re going to do about it. Not even an apology on behalf of their employee that took the order whom they claim to know nothing about. Meanwhile it?s time stamped the length of the phone conversation and everything only having been maybe 15 minutes prior. Do not expect any true professionalism here especially if this is how a General Manager conducts herself in from of young, certainly impressionable teens employees. Sets a bad taste for this location. We simply left, reported them to corporate for unprofessionalism and ordered elsewhere.
