Mortar Pestle - Tampa

The food was fantastic and the service was exceptional. We had a wonderful dining experience, thanks to Jason who not only served us but also took the time to walk us through the menu and make recommendations for drinks.

The food was fantastic, the staff was excellent, and the chef was impressive! The coffee was outstanding, and the dining experience was delicious. This is a must-visit restaurant in Seminole Heights, Tampa.

This restaurant offers a very limited brunch menu with about 10 items, all made with the same ingredients but presented in different ways (such as sandwiches, omelettes, and hash). The eggs did not taste fresh, the bread was overbuttered and looked like it had been sitting out for a while, and nothing seemed to be made with fresh ingredients. I was surprised by this lack of freshness considering the restaurant wasn't even full. The service was mediocre - the host was great, but our waiter seemed inattentive. He didn't check on us when I took a few bites of my meal and looked dissatisfied. The dishes were also quite heavy and greasy. Overall, I wouldn't return to this restaurant. The unoriginal menu, inattentive waiter, food sitting under heat lamps, and overall lackluster experience made the visit not worthwhile.

Wanted to like it for the first time. the service was ashamed and clumsy, eating was okay.

This was a really cool restaurant. It had an unusual look to it and the food was very tasty. We were a table of 7 and the waitress was attentive to our requests.
