Independent And Cafe - Tampa

Cool little beer joint with a decent craft beer selection. Friendly helpful bar staff. Nice patio outside. Will definitely be back.

The food was very good and reasonably priced! I got the brat chips. My friend and I got the beer cheese as an appetizer, which was also very very good. The beer and wine selections was also nice. Also love the atmosphere, very chill and nice set up. Most of the staff was nice. There was a younger girl who served our food and she had a bit of an attitude but whatever. I really enjoyed the bartender that served me that day. :

After living in Minneapolis for four years I finally got fed up with the horrible winters and move to Tampa Florida. the restaurant scene in Tampa sucks 90% of the restaurants serve meteocre food , however I Love the independent cafe with their amazing craft beer and wine selection, plus it has a great menu .

Supported one of our favorite Seminole Heights stops today. The Independent is a fantastic spot with great bartenders, wonderful food (try the Habana) and so many awesome beers on tap. Fantastic spot in a great area.

Instead of as a customer, I would like to review as a musician who played at The Independent. The staff and soundperson were awesome. Super friendly and so helpful! They treated me like I was wanted there and made me feel at home. Never had to wait long for a beverage. Playing live at The Indy was an all-around great experience! The way they treat the musicians here is second to none! Can't wait to play here again. :
