The New Year's Prefix menu was much overpriced and little quality and small portions. I ordered the otopus appetizer that was over boiled, burned and chewy. I ordered venison for escape and it was so chewing and hard to eat I had to spit out several pieces. there was also no crying option. it was $125 per person without alcohol and definitiw not worth that price. the peanut butter ice cream with dark chocolate brew dessert had a very bland brownie but the ice was good.
No NYE menu advertised. Food came out incorrect, they gave us risotto and said it was short rib (there wasn’t even meat on the plate) then after we complained again they fixed it.. main dish came out cold. Dessert was excellent though.
Went here for New years and my wife and I got the smoked chicken wings and each of us got a double cheeseburger with fries. Best burger I’ve had in a long time and she agreed.
In addition to posting here I am also sending a private note. The occasion was New Years Eve. Nowhere on the open table website was there any disclosure that the restaurant would have a set menu at 125 per person. Obviously where do find another reservation literally at the last minute? The “Limited” menu which we were told was a last minute offering was essentially a Chesseburger and truffle fries. That’s the best Epicurian can do? Disgraceful. To make matters worse, the Octopus was over cooked; the halibut was over cooked, the venison portion was for a 5 year old. To sum up this was a disappointing experience.
