However, we didn’t visit for the ambiance. We ordered an omelet that was quite flavorful, served with two generous slices of Cuban bread, along with a breakfast sandwich featuring eggs and bacon on the same bread. The bacon was particularly tasty. Paired with a large Cuban coffee, it made for a delightful breakfast. Next time, I’ll likely opt for takeout and just grab the sandwich and coffee.
Delicious home-cooked meals with generous portions and friendly service. I will definitely be returning!
I have only gotten my colada here, but I plan on eating there soon. The staff is very nice and the prices look very reasonable. The colada was just right!!
When in Rome.... if you are going to Corona's Coffee Shop, you are already in the mood for a completely submerged little piece of Dominican Republic. So of course very humble delicacy's, sausage with fried cheese for instance, or a bowl of oatmeal or maybe some gravy sausage with a biscuit. Everything here will be homemade on the spot and as if you were at a small side street in the Dominican Republic getting breakfast. Whatever you get, you absolutely MUST pair with a café con leche! Hands down, one of the best cups I've had since my grandmother (GOD bless the dead)! If you go into it with all that in mind, you'll leave satisfied. If you stop in thinking you are at the Waldorf Astoria, don't stop in. One more thing, they understand English but for the full experience, brush up on your Spanish!
Great breakfast sandwiches and REAL coffee fun place!
