As she served our drinks, Lauren also brought out plenty of bread to keep everyone happy while we waited for our main courses—especially great for the little ones in our group. Given the size of our party, we expected the food to take a bit longer, but it actually arrived much faster than we anticipated. Not only that, but it came out one after another, and I was truly impressed by how Lauren distributed everyone’s plates perfectly. Everything was delicious! After our meal, we enjoyed desserts and café con leche, which did not disappoint either. A big thank you to Lauren and the rest of the staff who helped make our dining experience wonderful. I would rate it a perfect 10/10 and highly recommend this restaurant!

When you are doing the Riverwalk in downtown Tampa, don’t miss eating at this lively waterfront spot. The Columbia restaurant brand is famous for Cuban food and this location is close, and easier to get tables. They have all the classics so you must get the Cuban sandwich and the 1905 salad made table side. We tried three other entrees and all were very good. And go for the House sangria pitcher that the waiter mixes for you. A fun place to eat in a cool part of town. It should be part of your Tampa experience.

Food was great as usual but service was bad and slow

Our server Anitra was outstanding. We arrived just in time for a Lightning game, and the atmosphere was buzzing. She managed her duties with grace and provided excellent service to every table, always with a smile. I was truly impressed by her ability to serve while also making sangria and preparing salads for many of her guests at the table. The expectations are high for the servers here, and Anitra certainly rose to the occasion. This made the food taste even more delightful. The 1905 salad is a must-try! It’s a wonderful spot for a light meal. I can’t wait to return.
