I had planned to dine in however this happens to be another restaurant that fails to greet you when you walk in, and especially for someone who is the first time customer not knowing how the operation works. Being disregarded standing there without being recognized by the staff is a very uncomfortable feeling and it reflects very poorly on the business itself. I will never return. Their customer service is simply pathetic everyone should be fired and/or reinforce retraining inorder to operate the restaurant satisfactorily. What a disappointment it was, I feel it was obvious that I wasn?t welcome there.
We ordered a tossed salad, incredible breadsticks, a New York-style cheese pizza, and a veggie deep dish. I left feeling stuffed from all the delicious food. The customer service was just as wonderful; our waitress was delightful and incredibly helpful. The only downside is that parking is very limited, and the restaurant fills up quickly on weekends. We arrived at 5:18 PM, just 18 minutes after opening, and the place was nearly packed. As we waited for our food, we saw the line for takeout stretching out the door. But trust me, it's worth the drive, the wait, the limited parking, and even that uncomfortable fullness when you leave. I wouldn't hesitate to drive nine hours just for the pizza—and we're already planning our next trip!
I absolutely love their Chicago-style pizza! It's been my favorite for over 20 years, even at different locations.
It was exactly what I wanted, expected, and needed! My friend and I are from Chicago, and this experience definitely exceeded our expectations! When I walked in to pick up our order, everyone greeted me with huge smiles, creating a fun, upbeat, and positive atmosphere. And the Chicago-style deep dish? Yes, yes, and yes!
