Basiilik Pizza Pasta - Tallinn

Nice terrace. Fast service and polite staff. We ordered smoked chicken pasta in a creamy sauce with sundried tomatos and blue cheese and oven baked pasta with plum tomatoes, BBQ chicken and mozzarella. So delicious. Good price level.

Nice atmosphere outdoors and solid pasta, great place to eat outdoors. Limited selection of fruity cocktails but otherwise solid drink options. Nice service.

We came to have a bite on a weekend day. The weather was great, a lot of people were sitting on the terrace but the place was not full, we found a cozy place on the terrace as well. We ordered two smoothies and a pizza. We waited for at least 30 40 minutes for our order! Luckily we were not dying of hunger. The pizza was rather tasty but something inside occasionally tasted mould. The smoothies were good, I particularly admired mine orange juice with sea buckthorn juice, intense sour taste which however might be too strong for some. The order cost around 30 eur for everything, I found it overly expensive, 20 eur would be a fair price. The service was neutral, the location is central, the terrace is great on a sunny day. The place is mostly visited by foreigners like Finns. Overall a fine place to take a short break.

We had a dinner here on our first evening in Tallinn, it was a huge disappointment. We had to wait a lot for the waitress to take our order even though the restaurant was half empty. They were not welcoming at all and we had the feeling they don’t want us to be there. The waitresses were cold and didn’t care about the costumers at all. We ordered 1 hawaii pizza and as you can see on the photo there were only few pineapple pieces on the pizza. Generally it was tasteless and very-very overpriced. I liked their homemade limonade, however, it was also pricey. All in all I would totally not recommend this place especially for foreigners!

The salads were delicious, I liked the most with smoked salmon, eggs and potatoes. Smoothie was also decent. The tea pots are pretty big. They have a spacious and sunny terrace outside, free Wi-Fi without password. Unfortunately, no sockets noticed. The bees were annoying.
