Good stuff. Like many others I have been a regular Zoes' visitor in other cities, and am delighted to have a TLH location. Consistently good food notwithstanding a few opening weeks bumps. The chicken salad, slaw, Greek salad, chicken soup Gruben are all very good. The pasta salad and the new quinoa salad are really outstanding. One of the best things about the location is the outdoor seating the high retaining wall creates a pleasant place to eat notwithstanding being right next to Thomasville Road. And the easy grab and go items are fresh, fast and a lifesaver for a healthy lunch or dinner. Welcome to TLH Zoes! Glad you are here.
...when I found out that today was the grand opening for Zoes Kitchen in Tallahassee, we made it a point to meet up and try it. The restaurant is located in the Whole Foods Shopping Center off Thomasville Road, across from Red Elephant, JoAnn Fabric, etc. The restaurant is nestled in, by the road, but currently does not have a sign facing the road, so just look for the Whole Foods, and Alumni Hall signage. Overall the restaurant has a great set up. Tons of natural light. Plenty of booth or table options, and an adorable outdoor patio area, complete with a pergola, and tables and umbrellas. I can see myself meeting for lunch on the patio this fall. (just a tad bit too hot now to enjoy) (mental note: Inquire if we can bring Georgia and sit outside) We arrived at 11am, just as they opened. They are open 11am 9p
An email from an old friend and an invite to lunch brought me down Thomasville Road to visit one of Tallahassee’s newest lunch spots, Zoës Kitchen. The restaurant is a chain with locations in fifteen states including four stores in Florida.
Glad they're here. I'm definitely excited to not have to go to Destin to eat at a Zoes Kitchen. The marinated slaw is excellent with its greek dressing and feta and the quinoa salad was very tasty. Nice to see quinoa used properly in a dish. The spinach roll-ups are one of my favorites and my companion enjoyed them enough to agree to definitely be a repeat customer. They are very vegetarian friendly and (mostly) healthy. Our only complaint was the potato salad was way too salty/peppery to eat, but we had more than enough food so we didn't bother to return it.
