McGowan's used to be one of our go-to restaurants before the pandemic. We did our best to keep supporting them by ordering takeout, which was just as delicious at home and packaged sustainably. Over the past few months, we've returned several times, and it has never let us down—whether it's for a working lunch, drinks with friends, or a romantic dinner.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The service was incredibly friendly, and they offered a delightful selection of wines and beers. The pretzel was tasty, although it could have used a bit more salt. In my updated 2022 review, I’m giving it five stars for being my favorite neighborhood pub! The service is consistently excellent, the food is comforting and delicious, and I absolutely love the sparkling sangria! Don't miss the Tater Nots – they're a must-try! Cheers!

I had a fantastic Sunday lunch. The food was fresh and delicious. My husband appreciated the wide selection of beers available. This local restaurant has a unique charm and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Within an hour of opening keep in mind not very busy. This place was out of two things I wanted to try. They need to prep more when you only have a handful of tables. Not sure if I will try this place again. Sandwich had no flavor for a French dip the two bites I ate. Fries where good and the the pickle. They didn?t even offer to get me something Different or discount it. This place is pretty basic for the price.

1st time! And on St Patrick's day. Had 3 perfect specials for the day. I went with the guiness beef stew! The stew was great but my new favorite food of all time is the Ruben egg rolls!! Insanely good! Service was top notch and whole staff super friendly
