Canopy Road Cafe Southwood

Treated my mom to breakfast and was very disappointed. We spent about 90.00 and our food wasn't fresh. My mom was missing her home fries. My dad didn't have much country steak in his skillet. My French toast was rubbery and the sandwhich was dry. My husband's chicken fingers were overcooked. The only good things about the meal was the cinnamon roll and the waffles. Wouldn't visit this location again.

It was o.k. , nice quite area but too small inside and too hot to be outside. Onion rings were very good and the waitress was super nice.

Brunch here is very good and staff friendly. I had meat lovers omelet, my bride had veggie omelet and the sweet potato pancake a favorite of hers. My friends had chicken and waffles (same every time he loves it). Coffee is good but they only provide small packets of creamer (flavored as well as hand and half).

My second review for Canopy Road. I still recommend the cinnamon roll, it 's pillowy, fluffy, melt-in-your-mouth wonderfulness is unforgettable. It 's the first thing I tried on my first ever visit and it 's still my top fave. If you are more health conscious save this for the cheat day or try the Bee Bee skillet (healthy and filling). I 'll have to leave a future review for the country fried steak with extra gravy.... it 's to live for.

I had the Fat Elvis today, which are pancakes with bacon and banana slices cooked inside, topped with melted peanut butter chips. They were amazing! The coffee is always good and it's so pleasant to sit outside and watch the world go by. The service is also topnotch!
