101 Lounge - Tallahassee

The atmosphere and service at 101 Tallahassee were lovely, but unfortunately, the dining experience for the five of us left much to be desired. The ravioli portion was extremely small, consisting of just four pieces served in a large, nearly empty bowl of lukewarm cream sauce, making it feel more like a scavenger hunt than a meal. The grouper was underseasoned and bland. I chose this restaurant to celebrate a special occasion with my family, and I now regret not dining next door at Harry’s or one of the other fantastic restaurants in downtown Tallahassee, where I know I would have enjoyed exceptional food and flavor. I am very disappointed with this experience and won’t be returning. I have already shared my thoughts with many friends about the overpriced and mediocre food at 101.

The waiter seemed overwhelmed and forgot to address the fact that my food and drinks were quite disappointing.

The chicken was cooked to perfection—excellent job! The server was very friendly and made sure my drink was always refilled. The restaurant is conveniently located near the DoubleTree Hotel, making it just a short walk away.

While atmosphere and service were nice 101 Tallahassee was a horrible value for the food the 5 of us received. The ravioli was an extremely small portion of 4 raviolis in a large unappetizing bowl of tepid cream sauce where you had to hunt and peck for the ravioli. The grouper was underseasoned and average in taste. I went to this restaurant to celebrate my graduation with family and I truly wish I would have spent less/the same amount of money next door at Harry's or any of the other wonderful restaurants in downtown Tallahassee where I would've gotten exceptional food and taste. I am so disappointed in this trip and I will not be back and I have already warned many friends of my dining experience and the overpriced mediocre food at 101.
