Red Bowl - Talladega

I visited this restaurant after reading the reviews. I can see why it's popular with locals, but for travelers, it’s pretty much what you would expect given the location. The service was excellent and genuine, and the food arrived quickly. However, I would rate the food a 2 out of 5.

The food was fresh and hot! It was incredibly satisfying after a long day at Talladega Speedway. Overall, I would rate it 5 out of 5.

I usually order the lunch special with two rolls, but their Japanese rolls are among my favorites, and the bento boxes are delicious. Food: 5/5

Avoid this place. I ended up discarding my sushi roll because it tasted like canned tuna, even though tuna wasn’t supposed to be in it. It had an overwhelming fishy flavor, and it was both dry and unappetizing. The filet mignon was overcooked—completely gray inside—and lacked any seasoning. The shrimp was similarly overcooked, chewy, and dry. To top it off, the fried rice was the worst I’ve ever had. I spent nearly $70 on food that mostly ended up in the trash. I give it two stars only because I feel guilty leaving just one.

I rarely get sick, but after eating their sushi yesterday, I've been regretting it nonstop. I will not be returning.
