Mang Inasal Talavera

We recently arrived in the Philippines for a one-week stay and visited a restaurant in my parents' hometown of Talavera, Nueva Ecija. The restaurant, located on Main Street, had ample parking. Upon entering, we were greeted by a security guard and seated. The menu featured a variety of meat dishes, and the service was organized into different sections - one for rice, one for sauces, one for water, and one for soup. I appreciated this setup. I ordered the famous chicken inasal, which was barbecue chicken. The flavor was delicious, but the meat was slightly dry. The halo-halo dessert was also very good, one of my favorites. The ambiance of the restaurant felt like a fast food chain, but overall it was a good experience and I would definitely try it again.

One of the few Mang Inasal na malinis ang dining area, floor and tables, combined with fast and friendly service. Hindi nawala ang quality ng service unlike other mang inasal branches na madumi ang dining, masyadong nagmamadali ang crew at mamantika ng floor. This branch deserves an award, kung meron man na inaaward na ganun. Hopefully ma-maintain nila ang ganitong quality.
