There were 3 of us and there were 2 chairs left and we asked the bartender if they had extra chairs left. And they were kinda rude saying that it was a "cowboy cafe" and that they only had chairs as the way it is seen on the tables. Im from Baguio, we got offended by it as well because Baguio is known for its cowboy culture as well and believe me, comboys do not have slangs and are not rude to talk to. And if the didnt want us to ask for more chairs, they should've just placed a signage of no asking for extra chairs.
Walking distance to most of the resorts and hostels, offers a nice Mexican pub vibe. Local owners/ partners personally serve drinks. Best place to hang-out after a good swim/surfing session either solo, to make new friends, or chill with friends. Get yourself a Sweet Chai o' Mine, a Dirty Horchata, or a regular Latte, but you cannot leave without sharing a pan of oven baked s'mores!
El Union's Coffee and Smores = Perfect!! We went here around 7PM, just right after our dinner. The ambiance was so good!!The staff were accommodating. The coffee is not sweet because their smores' sweetness perfectly match it!!
Everything here is good. The staff were nice and accommodating, the food was really good ahem... Smores.... and the coffee was also good. When we went here, we ordered coffee, horchata and smores and everything was delicious. It's also a nice place to hang out with friends because of it's ambiance. Sometimes, they also host a small bazaar which features locally made goods like bracelets etc.
What's the only thing that can make a day at the beach better. Fantastic coffee that's what.Definitely the best place to get coffee in La Union. Place has such an inviting open feel to it.The people work there are down to talk about their love of coffee and other life passions. Not going to lie, a lot of surf talk. But that's to be expected in the surf capital of the Philippines. The design of the cafe is beautifully done. Geometry and clean lines abound. There is a space on the second floor that is available as a co-working space and yoga studio. How cool is that!
