Velvet Cafe, Galata - Taksimo

Velvet is my favorite café in Galata. The atmosphere inside, the decorations, coffee cups from different places around the world are very special to this place. I wish I could come Istanbul more often, and visit here more frequently.

A place to visit .. Amazing cozy small cafe wonderful tasty breakfast .. Nice friendly people. We enjoy it each time we come to Istanbul

If you are ever near galata tower and feel tired after all your walking,you must experience this oasis of calm,charm and coffee.the decor and friendliness will surely energize you for the rest of your fantastic time here in istanbul,i highly recommend this place,the owner,yuksel will make your trip to velvet cafe a very happy memory.

Super cosy café. Take a Turkish coffee and you get to choose an old beautiful cup from their collection to drink it from!

The staff was super nice educated and helpfull. Great multicultural music, great coffee and great local cuisine! Loved it!
