It's a tap house which has the main range of hida beer. They also have a few nibbles and specialitys of hida beef on a stick. Place shuts early at 5pm on monday to Thursday and then is open till 9 on the remaining. It's not too cheap with half pints at 700 yen and pints at 1200 yen. The atmosphere of the place is great and the smell of hinoki is very refreshing. Worth a try

The only pub that can drink all kinds of Hida Takayama brewery's tap beers, I visited here immediately after resuming business from the temporary closure due to the spread of COVID 19 infection, but I was the only one in pub. After all, beer pubs should be lively with people gathering. I hope it will converge soon.

Official website says closure at 9pm but actually at 7pm. Unfriendly staff. CB choice is sufficient. A bit pricy...

The beer is nice and interesting design of the bar. A bit pricey but more than once there was a lady and was quite rude. Especially towards foreigners. It is a shame when you have a nice place but people have no clue towards customer service. Happened more than once so I don't go or recommend this place.
