River Inn - Takaka

Have been doing away work in takaka and we have been going to river inn for dinners and they make our lunches. And wow oh wow absolutely amazing service wonderful food and the local are all friendly just such a warm welcoming place to be! Thank you all Service: 5

Friendly rustic experience, typical of Golden Bay, great place to explore the area from. Sensible prices for camp ground, no electric hook up available though. Food and drinks are reasonably priced and very good. Better selection of craft ale would be welcome. Service: 4

Fan bloody tastic. Pub grub at its best. Marty the chef does great work. Staff friendly and helpful. Big portions, great price and above all a great atmosphere. Met heaps of lovely locals. Will definitely try and get back when we can. Seeing is believing go there if you can. Service: 5

After watching a game of rugby on Saturday , we decided to stop in for a drink and ended up staying for dinner, and I’m so glad we did . The food was so delicious and staff were amazing. I had the fish burger and OMG it was the best burger I have had in a long time . So if you are ever over in Golden Bay stop off here and grab a drink and try some delicious food . Thanks the river inn for a great few hours . We will be back . Service: 5
