The chefs are friendly, service was impeccable and I was so stuffed. Food is definitely filling and delicious. Like the sake. The star was the uni and tuna. Must try!
Food was phenomenal. The texture was my favorite. Neutral flavors with bursts of excitement. The sommelier recommended 2 sakes and they were way too bubbly. Minus 1 star for the sommelier recs.
Nigiri set menu with some creative Taiwanese flourishes (eg Shaoxing wine with sweet shrimp and liquified Uni) in a spacious, comfortable space. Presiding chef is from the once institution Sasa and while his creations here are simple, he blends tastes well and has the occasional surprise.
One of the best sushi restaurants in taipei. High quality Japanese seafood are used.
A bit pricy, but it's worth it. toro and uni just melt in the mouth! scallop with Mullet-Roh was just de-li-cious!
