Jamie's Italian Taiwan - Taipei

Good food and good service. Not exceptional but solid. The environment and the presentation is very nice. The wine selection is quite good as well. Desserts looked good but I didnt try them. The vegetarian pasta was ok. It seemed to lack flavor. The tomato and ricotta appetizer was very good as was the chardonnay. Worth a try. The pizza looked enticing. Ill try it next time!

Not worth the price Reply: thank you for the reply. The salad and sides was fine yet we didn't visit the place for sides and salds, the main dishes didn't have unique taste and the fish and lamp aroma/bad smell was there in the taste of the food

We’ve been to a few Jamie’s but this one disappointed us. It is quite an expensive chain and so you expect better service, unfortunately it really let us down. One issue we had was that they served us our dessert (brownies and ice cream) BEFORE our main course. We told them it was too early but later, after our main course, they served us THE SAME dessert only the ice cream had completely melted and the brownies were cold. When we were ordering milk for our daughter the waiter did not know their menu and told us they didn’t serve milk, we had to show him it on the menu . They also brought the wrong meal at one stage and the check while we were still eating our main course and hadn’t received our dessert. It wasn’t even a busy day. There were several other issues, not worth the price.

It's as interesting as eating that he cooked on TV. looks great, tastes good medium with taking out her pizza. the pizza here is pretty good. other than that, great personal and service, very accomidating on our seat request.
