I used to frequent this place often when I used to live in Taipei years ago. So of course I had to come back here to eat my favorite udon noodles! I ordered the curry udon soup as I always do. I love the taste of the fresh homemade udon noodles and light flavorful soup! It always hits the spot. My friend ordered the rice and curry set and she enjoyed her food. I tried some of her tempura and was amazed by how a deep fried dish could taste so light and somehow oil-free. It definitely doesn’t taste heavy and oily like tempura from the US. I love this place and will always make time to stop here whenever I visit Taiwan!

The tomato Udon soup was divine (I warned that it was sour and spicy, but did not find it) and the popcorn tofu was perfectly crispy. I also enjoyed the tangent matcha cocktail. When you arrive there, scan a QR code to get in line for a table. If you sit, there is another QR code for the menu and you order online I found the entire process very convenient. The place was very crowded at rush hour, but when I had eaten lunch, it was almost empty.

Must try! I know that most people are fantastic about the Soba noodles, but their Kimchi is out of the chain! Try everything if you can. I couldn't finish everything I had, but I got leftovers. The staff is great. The food was fresh and tasteful. The surroundings are beautiful. The dishes were beautiful. Honestly, I wish I didn't live that far away. I'd be here a few times a week.
