Chaovegan - Taipei

I work near and go here almost every day for lunch. the owner is cool, young and friendly. the burgers have some of the best fake meats I've ever had, and the noodles are very filled. also it is super cheap!

First I was worried that this place would not be vegan as it serves fake meat products. but after talking to the young, friendly staff, I can confidently confirm that it is all vegan, and its owners/supply are also vegan and involved in the taipei vegan community. Eating is quite typically cheap Taiwanese food, some traditional and some of the typical Taiwanese take western foods, including burgers. it is quite fat, but fill. and as the previous review said, it is very cheap. if they are looking for a cheap vegan meal in the area banciao (or on the blue line) I recommend this place. it is also a beautiful opportunity to dinate at a traditional Taiwanese place without having to worry about what vegan is. five stars, not because there are five star foods, but because there is a five star job to promote vegan food for people in this live area.

在新北市土城區巷弄內餐點清爽可口，口味獨特，飲料類也很不錯，服務很貼心不錯。ps: 因餐點都現做，而且位置有限，空間也有限，儘量外帶，可先撥打電話預約比較不用等。謝謝。

We were there for dinner and we tried burgers with different pattys and some kind of quesadilla. the owner was beautiful, he served us with pleasure and we talked a lot to him. we're going back.
