The food at this restaurant is undeniably excellent, with a very original American style. However, the establishment does not seem to put much effort into enforcing its non-smoking policy. Although there are several non-smoking signs posted in the outdoor dining area, many customers still smoke while seated at their tables. The employees seem to turn a blind eye to this behavior. While it is important to maintain customer relationships, it is puzzling why non-smoking signs are posted if the policy is not enforced. Additionally, the second floor dining area, which is designated as a non-smoking area, is always open, but the bar area is not big enough to accommodate non-smoking customers. This situation is truly unfortunate.
The chili, quesadilla, and milkshake were all good. The prices were reasonable.
I have visited this restaurant about 4 times now and each time, the atmosphere and food have been very good. The first time I went, I ordered the basic burger with cheddar cheese and tater tots (310ntd). The burger was juicy and delicious, and the tater tots, though a little oily, tasted good. I also tried the banana pancakes (160ntd) and an iced latte (90ntd). Unfortunately, they didn't have real maple syrup for the pancakes, but they were still pretty good. I really enjoyed the ****** Mary drink options they offer, especially the **** Boomer (230ntd) which felt like a meal in itself. It was fresh, strong, and presented beautifully. I also tried the patty melt (370ntd) with French fries, which was fantastic and gave off some classic American Diner vibes.
Service: 10 out 10, amazing people Double patty burgers: 5 out of 10, too dry, too cooked, not juicy, too salty, too much seasoning added to the patty, cannot really feel the meat taste, just the seasoning. Good bacon and cheese on it. Chilli con carne: 10 out of 10, meat has texture and taste, no grinded tendons or cartilage inside. Just the right taste, a bit spicy. Big portion . Chicken tenders: 10 out of 10, Amazing tenders, one of the best I ever had, cripsy shell, well done, not oily at all, 100% chicken breast inside (no tendon, no skin, no bone), good barbecue and blue cheese dips. French fries: 12 out of 10, made from scratch (not that frozen costco type), crispy brown/golden shell soft and tasty inside, generous portion, Hashbrown: 7 out of 10, seemed cooked in a hurry, too much heat, Outside partialy crispy, inside uncooked here and there. Salad: 9 out 10, decent, normal good salad, fresh crispy veggies. Edit: I do not recommend having burgers or hashbrowns.
