Perspective (subjective) The market in McKinct Hill is very strongly influenced by office workers, and a fast, affordable meal is all that is needed. I would find a quick meal here, just beat the clock, as a much nicer meal would be wasted in a hurry. Apart from that, new options in the Food Court and in the Grand Canal Mall put their once-prisoner customers. The recent opening of Sizzling Pepper Steak with prizes under 180 is much more tastier for the budget, resulting in a gap. PERSPECTIVE (Subjective) The market in McKinely Hill is very much the office crowd and a quick affordable meal is all that's needed. I to would seek a quick meal here just to beat the clock, as a much nicer meal would be wasted when in a rush. That being said, new options in the food court and in the Grand Canal Mall are pinching their once captured customers. The recent opening of Sizzling Pepper Steak with their below 180 pricing is just much more palatable on the budget, which creates a gap. Lines have died down at Pepper Lunch in favour of cheaper and better options such as "Little Manila" who offer more than just the sizzle, but a diverse menu with veggies, Galo's 350 pesos for 2 promo, which includes drinks, and finally our usual cheap eats would Shawarma Bros, an inexpensive rush meal that's consistent and starts from just 159 for a meal & drink. FOOD The usual BEEF PEPPER RICE is a frequent order, but being a foodies about trying new things, so this time I tried their TERIYAKI BEEF PEPPER RICE (209 PHP) essentially the only difference is the included egg and the teriyaki sauce, the egg plays a vital part in keeping me happy with this plate, as the beef feels, underwhelming in use, the beef up they offer will be another 50 pesos and that point a full restaurant is a much better choice. Is it just me, but I expect to always eat too quickly and sting myself in the process. #Excited eater.ph
Robinsons food court is the nearest place for Enderun students like myself go to eat. I usually go to pepper lunch because it's the only one from all the other food choices that seem to be tummy filling. I appreciate the fact that the staff remember me and my order every time I go there for lunch. They always smile at their customers, very friendly and accomodating. The line here however is usually long but depending on what time you go, you may be lucky to be one of the few to get your orders right away! :) I usually get beef pepper rice with egg or cheese, depending on my mood. I also add the honey sauce for more flavor :)
