The place is good and relaxing. It has a pool also. Good for meetings and conferences.
A budget Chinese in Tagbilaran Where to have a good meal for reasonable prices in Tagbilaran city? Try the JJ 's Dimsum and Restaurant along the Carlos P. Garcia Ave. It 's a Chinese style restaurant 5 min walking distance from BQ mall. They have many dishes on the menu and some of them would be suitable for vegetarians. But as always in the Philippines, ask specifically if it 's meat in the vegetarian dish you plan to order. I noticed too many times there can be meat in so called vegetarian dishes. Rice toppings Around lunch time they serve these delicious small rice toppings for just 50 PHP each. There are different toppings with rice beneath. If you are hungry like me, just order two or more and you will be set for the day! They have regular menu also The menu is extensive and you can choose between chicken, beef, pork, fish, vegetables etc all in Chinese style. As the name of the restaurant indicates, they also have a variety of dim sum. For example the Siopao which is common everywhere in the Philippines as street food. Siopao literally means steamed bun and is the Philippine version of the Cantonese steamed bun called cha siu bao. Siopao does not require utensils to eat and therefore perfect to be consumed on-the-go. Rating: 1-5 where 1 is terrible and 5 is excellent 4 Food 4 Service 5 Value 4 Atmosphere
Read the reviews from other people on here. Since I'm the type who needs to get the facts right and actually see it person, I ventured out to have lunch here, on a Sunday. Should not be usually busy right? Out of everything on their menu, only a handful is available and the ones they have doesn't meet the name and description on the menu. It's only 12.30pm and apparently they've ran out of food. And they're open til 10pm tonight! So by the way it is running now, by 2pm they would have ran out of everything. I meant everything! I wonder how the manager able to survive this long with even the JIT way of running things they failed. Their juice is not real juice, they're from syrup in cold water. They should call it cordial instead of juice. Juice came from real fruits. Then I asked if they can make me some halo-halo, they said their ice crusher is broken. If you're running a restaurant where your livelihood depends on selling what's on the menu, you make sure you have a backup machine! There are 30 seats in this place, that's 30 reasons you lost money today! And maybe 30 reasons you've lost 30 or so repeat and new customers in the future. I ordered poke spareribs. I don't think they know what that is! The meat looks like it came from another part of the pork. And I can't see ribs in the remaining carcass of my meal.
The service is horrible! I wasn 't able to order any of their sandwiches just because I was the only person who ordered it. They said that if they buy a whole pack of loaf the rest would be wasted .... Almost all of the snack part in the menu is unavailable. Staff are unfriendly.
