No host hostess to assist the guest, waited so long standing in front of the host desk to get a table. Food was served cold, you can 't even see waiters per section. All of them was like lost in the woods. No F&B Manager Supervisor checking back on table to see if the guest are enjoying. Unreasonable price for the quality of food and its serving. Took time to serve the bill and return the validated parking ticket. its like a Carinderia with service charge. I visited a lot of hotels and restaurants locally and overseas, and these outlets deserves no star.
A great place to spend an extended, slow lunch on a drizzly, foggy and slightly chilly Saturday. Buffet spread PHP 1500+ per included a spread of individually prepared caesars salad, fresh lumpia and fresh mango or four season slush section, choice of either corn or nilagang baka/beef broth soup, piping hot roast section of tender juicy beef or spring chicken, a pick and choose your pansit or noodles...main dishes offered a wide selection of local mainstays like beef caldereta, banana blossom in spicy coco milk, crunchy pork belly kare kare, chicken ala creamy mushroom, red or white jasmine rice...fresh local ensaladas like spicy pomelo, labanos or radish pickles etc and the usual Japanese rolls. I liked the dessert section...make your own sundae, the halo halo with traditional ube halaya and macapuno topping, kakanins galore and more crepes to order. Dining complemented by a lively cultural show of dances from three regions in 2 sets. Yes, spent my entire afternoon nibbling through the buffet while e joying company of kins and kith. Tip a table upfront and close to the show, call ahead to make a reservation. They'll sit the group as close as possible. Parking: On location and compmimentary when validated vis dining.
4 cheese pizza was great the gorgonzola cheese was the highlight. Pepperoni pizza was only ok. Filipino style carbonara was really good. Pancit luglog was loaded and delicious. Drinks were ok. Service was exceptional. Parking: Tons of parking. We were staying at the hotel so parking was free. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
A place to see the good view of Taal Volcano. A pleasure to sip coffee with friends and business associates.
A couple of weeks ago, my friends and I had a festive lunch at Taal Vista Hotel. We ate our way through seafood, pasta, and beef at Cafe Veranda. Here 's what I had to say about the Lunch Buffet: Cafe Veranda serves up dishes that span the culinary horizon, from steaming bowls of Beef Noodles to Pork Sisig to Seafood Thermidor; with their mesmerizing spreads and Make-Your-Own stations-this is one buffet where you 'll want to linger. You would do well to start your meal with a Chicken or Beef Noodle Soup from the Noodle Station, then, fill up on fiber and grab a plate of crisp, organic, fresh Salad. The greens make way for standout main courses, like the slow-roasted US Chuck Roll or the succulent Porchetta accompanied by a flavorful peppery gravy. Dessert at Cafe Veranda has been enough to bring customers back for more. Top off the meal with a glass of Halo-Halo or feast on a wide array of native delicacies. It 's clear why tourists from Manila and even those from other countries come to Taal Vista Hotel. The ambience gets plenty of love but Cafe Veranda 's delectable dishes coupled with impeccable, friendly service are winning draws. Whether you 're eating unlimited serving of Carbonara or stuffing yourself with Brownies at the Dessert Station, you 're guaranteed to get your money 's worth at Cafe Veranda. Pro Tip: Weekend Buffets at Cafe Veranda is pretty special. Taal Vista Hotel delights its customers with a cultural show featuring local artists that perform traditional folk dances. Truly a must-see show!
