Nuevo Hostaf - Tafalla

Good pintxos and good wine in an attractive location in the old part of Tafalla. You can sit outside on tables in the square when the weather is good. I notice that some reviews refer negatively to the service, so I´d like to clarify this. These comments refer to the bar owner Ricardo. Ricardo is Ricardo and he´s human with little skill at dissimulating. Sometimes he´s friendly. Other times he´s rushed off his feet. Other times he makes attempts at expressing his quirky sense of humour. He´s actually quite a likeable character, at times even entertaining. Take him with a pinch of salt and relax. Also, Ricardo is accompanied behind the bar by Sonia (the bar´s pintxo creator) at busy times and Sonia is unequivocally charming. Don´t be put off by the negative reviews. The Hostaf is worth a visit.

There are absolutely zero tourists here. And that's what makes it great. It is a small little place, a bit off the beaten path and recommended to us by locals. The service was friendly, the pinchos/tapas were good, and the beer was cold. Locals were very friendly and chatted us up without hesitation. Tafalla is a very authentic, Spanish town where you get a taste of true Spanish lifestyle.

Very nice Bar for having very good quality Pintxos, tapas. I think it is one of the best places in Tafalla. To drink one beer in the terrace is a very nice experience

Buen sitio para pasar la tarde noche, tomando vinos de calidad, cervezas, vermuts, copas... con todo tipo de pinchos, tanto elaborados (con innumerables premios) como clasicos tostas, croquetas variadas, todo muy rico, a muy buen precio. Muy buen servicio, camareros muy simpáticos y atentos
