The Crooked Billet - Tadcaster

I enjoyed a tasty and full eating in the crooked billet. eating was so good that I'll be back soon. I chose the smaller plate because there was noon, but there was more than much. the salmon also came with a side of sweet. waiting staff were helpful and polite and reasonable prices. well done all.

Lovely Sunday roast, beef and pork were truly wonderful, tasty gravy and the sticky toffee pudding was scrumptious. The owner and staff are allways nice and try to accommodate you whenever possible, will definitely be back.

I had the Giant Yorkshire Pudding filled with steak and kidney. Yorkshire Pudding was very nice, they were very generous with their portions of steak kidney and was lovely. I will be back.

Delicious Home-cooked food. Lovely old pub with great staff. Really great atmosphere. We stayed for most of the afternoon 3 of our group managed the 3-course Yorkshire Pudding challenge! Not for the faint-hearted! Fabulous afternoon set in beautiful countryside. If you fancy a proper pub excellent food this is perfect!!! Xxx

This charming rural pub is perfect for hikers and those looking for a nearby lunch spot near Lotheron Hall. The establishment is well-kept, with friendly and welcoming staff. The menu offers a variety of options, including the opportunity to choose smaller portions at a great deal: one dish for £9.99, two dishes for £14.99, and three dishes for £19.99. This was ideal for our large group, as we all enjoyed two dishes each. The food was delicious, with perfectly sized portions that were all homemade and beautifully cooked. We will definitely be returning to this lovely pub.
