The Ash Tree Inn - Tadcaster

I had a lovely meal this Sunday. The selection of dishes was excellent, with all the appetizers being very tasty and well-combined. The desserts were also fantastic. The staff was nice, friendly, and efficient, yet they didn’t make us feel rushed. The surroundings were pleasant, making it a reliable choice. I would definitely return!

We visited this restaurant for the first time to celebrate our 19th wedding anniversary. I ordered the crab cakes and a drink, while our daughter had BBQ chorizo and pizza, and my husband chose the fish and chips. My daughter and I found our meals to be fabulous, but my husband was disappointed with the fish and chips. He thought the batter was too thick and not to his liking. Despite that, I would recommend giving it a try to sample other dishes.

I had a fantastic experience celebrating my birthday dinner here! The staff were very attentive and friendly, and the food was delicious with generous portion sizes. The prices were quite reasonable, and I appreciated the refund for parking. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Delightful selection of cask beer; beautiful, attentive service; very nice eating, served with a smile. light 'flying in the salbe' were some small flying from the fresh flowers in vases, but they must admire the effort of fresh flowers in a pub! good pub.

Called on the off chance they would be able to fit us in. They did. Sunday lunch was delicious. Fresh veg, mash and roast potatoes. The lamb shank was huge. Couldn't finish it all. Will definitely visit again. Staff were lovely too. Very friendly place.
