Homestead Bakery - Tacoma

The restaurant is extremely clean and has a very cute theme. The waiting area is quite spacious, which could potentially lead to long wait times (although it was not very crowded when we arrived at 11:30 am on a Saturday and our wait was less than 10 minutes). Our server was very friendly and helpful with our menu inquiries. She brought a whole pot of coffee to our table (which I personally love when restaurants do) and it was decent coffee (not amazing, but not bad either). The menu offers a variety of nice options and some unique specialty dishes. We tried The Wagon Wheel and The Mess, both of which were delicious and came in generous portions. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant and we will definitely return to sample more of their special breakfast items.

The breakfast was very good. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was comfortable and friendly.

The place was clean(bathroomas well). Nice atmosphere. The name of the restaurant goes with the great ambiance. The food was good. I had the wagon wheel sandwich. It was amazing (sweet and salty). The fried chicken was delicious. The frontier breakfast sandwich was ok. Our server was friendly.

Quaint and cozy country themed restaurant with lots of character. The wait staff were incredibly friendly and on top of things without being too much or too little. I was greeted promptly and never felt forgotten even though it was just me at the table. I ordered the chef salad with grilled chicken and was impressed with the amount of bacon you get as well as how juicy the grilled chicken was. Highly recommend if you 're in the area. The menu has a lot of comfort food favorites as well as lighter options for those minding their diets. There is also a special seniors only menu. It was a bit pricier than I was expecting, even with inflation however it tasted good so I can overlook that for this occasion. (Chef salad with chicken was $16 or $17)

The food at this restaurant is excellent for the price, however, the service could be improved. Initially, the service was good like any other restaurant, but after receiving my food, the server never returned to check if I needed anything else. I waited for a while until I was ready to leave. It's possible that they were short-staffed, which seems to be a common issue nowadays.
