You can either sit in a modified traditional setting in the back or enjoy the booths and sushi bar at the front. Either way, you will have an enjoyable meal. Sushi, Sashimi, tempura shrimp or vegetables, beef, pork and chicken dishes, all with a Japanese flair. Good food, nice ambiance but can be a bit noisy, even in the traditional rooms they are only separated by thin partitions. The staff are friendly, dressed in traditional garb. It's a fun place to eat, but as with all types of Asian food, as it is usually fresh, it is on the high side of moderately priced. It's not hard to spend twenty five to thirty per person with one alcoholic drink and the portions are not big for the price charged, but it is very very good food.
A lunch visit - lots of police present (just near to the courts). Otherwise full of seniors and red-neck types. Miso Soup was OK - salad was good (but served with a very suspect sauce). Tuna and Salmon sashimi was great - but the "crispy tempura" should be renamed "chewy tempura". Not good at all. With so little effort they could be much better. Not a place for me!
Love to go here with a loved one and enjoy the atmosphere with traditional dining. Always nice to share a Love Boat and try other items off of the large menu.
Nice place. Traditional seating and feel like little Japan. The food is good, but If you want to taste the real Japanese food will cost you a lot. The sushi boat was really good. But, overpriced. Overall nice food.
