As I was about to order the young girl behind the counter said I just put cleaning chemicals on griddle I hope you don't want anything from there. Of course both my orders were from griddle. She said she could rinse it off and proceeded to the back where she filled a pitcher w water. Meantime the young man proceeded to approach the order counter and asked me what I wanted to order. I again said I'm waiting on the other worker to rinse off chemicals from the griddle he proceeded to tell me sorry we can't use griddle so is there anything else off the menu that you would want. I immediately became very upset and proceeded to ask why would you clean the griddle this early if you close 7. I then proceeded to tell him the hours on the door and website should be changed to reflect their cleaning regime. I also said this was a **** poor business plan and said I would reach out to the owner and discuss this matter Im not much of a fan of Yelp, but definitely thought this was deserving of a negative review. It's unfortunate bc the day before I had an amazing wrap with great service from 2 entirely different workers. Disappointed customer
I have had some good food here. But recently I ordered the Buffalo chicken quesadilla and I was pretty bad. Very greasy and soggy. I started trying to eat it with a fork and even then it just didn't taste great. I wouldn't order this item.
Healthy and Fresh is the motto of Pita Pita, a small eatery that strives to give customers a wide variety of healthy and full-flavored alternatives to greasy fast food, according to local owner Marc Sardo. They offer pitas, wraps, paninis, subs, salads and sandwiches, along with various desserts and sides. The wife and I stopped in before heading to an event at OCC, and we wanted something quick and close. We walked in about noon and the place was empty other than the two employees. Our order was taken right away, with the wife ordering a Monte Cristo panini while I went with a southwest steak pita, and we also got a side of pasta salad and a rice pudding dessert. The employees weren 't exactly the most exuberant, but weren 't rude either. They told us to take a seat and our order would be brought out to us. Food was prepared relatively quickly. Our sandwiches were served on paper plates which was a tad off putting for a sit in, but it 's not exactly some upscale restaurant anyway. The restaurant is modernly decorated and extremely clean, as others have pointed out. They clearly put an emphasis on cleanliness. We dug into our food and agreed that everything was just ok. My pita was filled with fresh veggies and a tasty chipotle sauce, but it was just normal unseasoned cheese-steak style meat inside. It was huge, but also hard to eat and extremely messy. My wife said her sandwich was ok, nothing special. Bread wasn 't toasted nearly as long as it should 've been. The pasta salad side was not enjoyable at all. It had little flavor to it and the flavor it did have wasn 't enjoyable. My wife did enjoy her rice pudding, however. Overall, it was alright, but nothing special, and a place we probably wouldn 't visit again.
Pita Pita is so much more than Pitas. This place rocks. It's truly one of a kind, quaint, family oriented, and proudly boasts delicious and fresh subs, salads, sandwiches, quesadillas, panini's, pitas, desserts... and the service? Everybody working in this place is wicked nice. It's quite a remarkable and affordable place to eat. A must try. Bring cash for a discount!
I came in this afternoon for a panini. Omarion along with the rest of the staff was extremely pleasant. I wanted lots of extra toppings on it& he didn't miss a beat it was great. Love how accommodating he was.
