She then just threw my recipe in a cup and basically threw it at me.Best tip I can give this place is fire her!
The server cautioned me when I initially ordered a hamburger, saying the hamburgers are not very good. I asked if the chicken sandwich was better and she said it was. I ordered the chicken sandwich and waited. And waited. And waited. I believe she is the only server and the place was busy. When the food eventually came, the fries looked good but were cold as if they had been waiting somewhere away from any source of heat for a good while. Like cold to the touch and unpleasant to eat. I used the catchup to mask it and choke a few down. The sandwich came on a very thick bun. The texture was less than palatable so I put it to the side after the first bite, opting to eat the meat with my fork. I think it was chicken but couldn’t tell based off of how it looked. It made me think of prefab, pressed out shapes with some sort of tasteless breading. I will say that nothing was greasy (the only positive I could find). Now as a sit waiting for my flight, I am hungry and feel like may have eaten a rock at the same time. Most unpleasant meal with unfortunate lingering effect on my stomach.
Beer is good, but the food is very sad. $13 for a chicken breast sandwich that looks like it came from a starving baby chicken.Food: 2/5
I try to be patient when it comes to busy airport restaurants but my god I’ve never had such bad service. Asked a busser if it was self seating, they said yes so I sat at a table in full view of the server. Spent at least 20 mins watching her walk around as casually as possible, no acknowledgement, not even a glance. Chatting with a few tables about nothing. It wasn’t even a crowded place, she just had zero urgency. When I finally caught her eye for long enough to show I had a menu in hand she still took another 5 minutes to walk over. No apology, no greeting. Another table gave up and bought sandwiches from the shop next door.
Service was a tad slow but my server seemed to be the only one working, so I empathized. That said, the prices are ridiculous. I spent $20.50 (before tip) on a sandwich and a soda. The Reuben was pretty good though it helped to cushion the blow.
