Honestly, these guys went above and beyond to help make sure my experience was great. I would give 6 stars if I could. All of the people working today were obviously very knowledgeable about the bikes, and cared about what they were doing. They even went out of their way to help someone get the bike, which they clearly use as their primary form of transportation, fixed last minute so that the person wasn't without it for the weekend. Mello Velo Bike Shop Cafe in Syracuse is a full-service bicycle shop with a great selection of gear. We stopped in for a needed replacement while on a ride across the Erie Canal Trail. The staff was super helpful and let us bring our bikes inside while we went to the cafe. The cafe staff were also very friendly, and the coffee was well done.

These dudes were able to get me in for some quick repairs on almost no notice. Also, the attached cafe has great espresso beverages and food. The bike shop: tons of bike options to suit your needs. I saw gravel, mountain, road, hybrid, and electric bikes, but there might be more. The main brand in the store seemed to be Salsa, but they have Specialized, Gazelle, and others I can't remember.
