Mcgavin's Pub - Syracuse

Spacious bar area with Guinness on tap, two billiard tables, a dart board, and a jukebox playing plenty of Hank Williams. The indoor space has plenty of light filtering in and is decorated with tiles. I'm not a fan of Whitney Houston and other cheesy 80s music, so I spent $10 on the jukebox to play music that makes me happy.

This authentic Irish pub located in the heart of Syracuse serves a variety of local beers from breweries such as South Animal Brewery and other upstate New York favorites. The food is delicious and they even have a pool table for entertainment. The interior is beautifully decorated to resemble an old Limerick pub. Live music adds to the fun atmosphere, especially during Tuesday night blues.

We visited the restaurant last Sunday during the fair. We remembered the bartender from two years ago, who served us dishes in stylish bottles. Greetings from Buffalo!

Weekend staff are amazing, but definitely just got hustled out before last call by the guy with an accent. Never seen him before, but mad rude.

Prompt accurate friendly service from the two female bartenders. However the two men coming in and out of the backroom killed the mood behind the bar. They both ignored the customers and gave glaring looks to everyone including the customers as they walked back and forth behind the bar. The music also didn't vibe for an Irish bar or the crowd.
