The food is amazing and makes me feel like I'm back in Hawaii. If you're looking for some classic Hawaiin comfort food, the Loco moco is where it's at. Can't say enough about this gem in little Syracuse!
Worst I have ever had. Chicken tasted like it was boiled for like 3 days. Literally no flavor in mine and my sons meal. My son has never asked to throw away his food until this experience Experience was bad enough I won't give them a second chance.
For date night this week we finally ate at Leila's Luau! We chose large plates with 2 meats. The meats were tender and the portion sizes were generous. My wife enjoyed the sauce applied generously over the meats and rice. She would have preferred sauce on the side or less sauce. I did not enjoy the taste of the sauce. I would have preferred a sweeter sauce like duck sauce. No wait on Saturday night? Yes!! Definitely worth checking out. Both the fruit and the macaroni salad are very good.
Newer place (it seems), was not busy when I stopped in for lunch. I got a two meat plate and it was bomb (do people still say that). Very comparable to the bigger box Hawaiian places in Utah, but was nice to support a local place. I don't live or make it to this area often so probably won't get the chance to stop by often, but if I am in the area won't hesitate to stop in.
This is supposed to be fried rice. As a local straight from Oahu, I am very disappointed. There’s no sauce on the rice and the eggs are dry and stink. The rice was in clumps. First and last time I buy the fried rice.
