Hammers Pub Grub - Syracuse

I was rudely turned away at 9 PM on a Friday night, even as the bartender was busy serving a full bar, because “the place was closed.” I felt disrespected and won’t be returning anytime soon. Seriously? My money is just as good as anyone else's!

I just had Hammers Pub Grub pizza for the first time, and it was absolutely delicious! I’ll definitely be returning!

Tip: Cash only. However, it's definitely worth it due to the fantastic prices on their delicious fried mushrooms, tater tots, and burgers. Be sure to say hi to James and Wendy!

Nice little pub, hidden away in plain sight. Limited menu. Ma and Pa with a great origin story. Food was great. Tots to die for. FYI cash only.

Hammers is great! I love the atmosphere, retro style build, and appropriately sized environment. If you like to be able to walk to get a drink, or get one in general, then you've got your beer or cocktail in hand. I already respected the owner/owners, but I really enjoyed my time there.
