Bukwildz - Sylvan Lake

While enjoying a relaxing evening on the patio over the May long weekend, I had an unfortunate encounter with a very drunk older woman named Shereen, who seemed to be the owner of the restaurant. She accidentally spilled a drink on me, causing me to feel upset as I was sober and had difficulty obtaining a drink to begin with. When I questioned her about the incident, she responded by asking who I thought I was, to which I replied that I was a customer. Despite her mistake, she proceeded to kick me out of the restaurant, displaying unprofessional behavior. This disappointing show of leadership greatly affected my night. And to make matters worse, for reference, I was the individual wearing the very nice boots.

Avoid this restaurant at all costs. During our visit, we observed a waitress named Sara taking pictures of customers' credit cards, adding drinks to the bill that were never requested, and even dropping a bag of cocaine near our table. The food was served cold, making it the worst dining experience we've ever had.

I had a server take a handful of my leftover food from my takeout box after I had already paid. This experience was unacceptable and I will not be returning to that restaurant again.

This restaurant is not friendly because the hostess refuse to write down to communicate with us! She needs to take ASL class to learn how to interact with us!! Also she doesn't have any cultural sensitivity! Don't go there!!

The word gross comes to mind when I think of Bukwildz. The patio smells like rotting garbage and the patio seats are super uncomfortable and dirty. I ordered the pulled duck sandwich that came with curly fries. I originally ordered onion rings but since they ran out, they offered us an upgrade to poutine. My friends ordered poutine, and although it looked good, I didn 't try any. I think the only reason Bukwildz is getting three stars at all is because I was super hungry after a full day of playing in a volleyball tournament by the lake, so I demolished my plate quickly. Oh, and Jared from Edmonton is a freaking amazing server. ... I think that 's about it.
