We had an excellent brunch experience at Main Market. The “hash browns” were some of the best breakfast potatoes we’ve ever had and our poached and over-easy eggs were runny to perfection.We appreciate that the menu has classic breakfast items (which are surprisingly hard to find nowadays? and a wide variety of options. Our server, Russell, was also spectacular, and he shared great insight into the menu and was eager to accommodate our special requests.Overall, we had a great experience and look forward to our next brunch date at Main Market. I have eaten here several times over the years- in restaurant, via carryout and delivery via Door Dash. The food is always delicious. Their desserts are yummy, though a little on the expensive side. The only one I didn’t personally enjoy was the apple spice cupcakes. Just not my favorite. I would easily give them 5 stars except in the past couple years I have had inconsistent service. They will include food items I request not to get (due to allergies) and forget to give me food items I do request and pay extra for (usually dressings or sauces). Or I am given the wrong condiment (horseradish something instead of lemon aioli). It’s happened so frequently that I have to check my orders now before leaving the restaurant and have started favoring carryout over delivery, which is at times inconvenient for me. The order tickets are clear (I get a copy), so I don’t get the issue. Do better and be better people! Your restaurant is semi upscale as are the prices, so I should expect and receive exceptional service!! Please improve as I want to continue enjoying your food for years to come, but if things don’t improve, I will have to take my business elsewhere. Annapolis certainly has no shortage of restaurants to choose from. Vegetarian options: There are minimal vegetarian options here. Parking: There is parking in front of the restaurant as well as to the side. It’s located in a small strip mall.

I ordered the breakfast tacos but was served French toast. When my breakfast tacos were finally brought out to me, everyone else at my table was done eating and so I had to box my tacos and take them home. Normally when this happens at any other restaurant, I get a refund, but I didn’t get a single dollar back for this inconvenience at main and market.

Went here for appetizers and dessert one night and loved the food. The hummus plate was delicious and both the strawberry shortcake and German chocolate cake were fantastic. We also came for breakfast and enjoyed the experience but they forgot to put avocado in my avocado crab omelette, so it was a bit dry. Otherwise, the hash browns are excellent. The service was perfect both visits and the atmosphere is welcoming and warm.

Walked in to place a carry out order at the front desk area to be told by the older woman working “go to the bar” after staring at me standing there. Once at the bar I sat for 10 minutes before being noticed. One server was rolling his silverware on the bar top, just ignoring me because I guess he was cut and didn’t care. So I waited patiently for the bartender to give the woman next to me samples of wine before I could place my Togo order. Noticed multiple tables that were dirty and covered in dishes. Plenty of waitstaff here but I think everyone cared more about doing their side work here so they could leave. My food took forever and all I ordered was a wrap. This is my second time here and will be my last. First time went the same way. What an awkward and weird experience and atmosphere.
